GRANDMA KATIE’S

Welcome to Grandma Katie’s!

If you collect antique shoes, then do come in and browse a while (enter by clicking on links at left).   If you’re just curious, then I welcome you to look around.  You may discover a truly fascinating hobby while you’re here.

My Grandma Katie was a true blue antiquer.  She never missed the opportunity to browse, be it at yard sales, or estate sales, or the local auctions.  But her very favorite thing to do was to find a new shoe for her shoe collection.

She was born in 1892, at a time when shoe collecting was at its most popular.  She passed the love of shoes on to my mom, who in turn imparted a love of shoes to me.  Now I’d like to bring this hobby to you.

The shoe pictured here was Grandma Katie’s, and it was the first shoe in my collection.  It is still the best loved.  So now that you know what I like, tell me what you like!  And please…enjoy your stay.  Explore all the aisles.  Ask questions.  I’ll try to provide you with answers.  And best of all, take a treasure home with you…and do come back as often as you can.  If you don’t see what you want, or you want to negotiate shipping  options (see The Fine Print), please email me.  I’m here to listen and to help you with your own collection!

If you have questions please email and ask for Cathern, a.k.a. "Katie." Thank you for stopping in!

If you want to feel secure in my reputation you can look at my history on eBay.  I’m foremost a collector with a love of shoes.  When you are in the mood to look at quality antique shoes, you don’t need to look at shoe wearing apparel or car and camera shoes, or pages of modern resin collectibles. So this is a place to relax and just look at shoes.   If you find something you like here, you can pay for it by cleared personal check, money order, or by credit card through PayPal.   If you want to apply for PayPal, click the icon by any item.  I can also gather multiple items under one invoice to offer best postal rates.   All rates are for domestic shipments, so foreign buyers must request an invoice.  I can only accept US dollar payments, and PayPal is strongly recommended for international transactions as I cannot accept add on bank fees for foreign instruments.  Your items will be packed carefully with modern packing materials, and all orders will be shipped by expedited mail with insurance and delivery confirmation.  If you wish to return something for other than frivolous reasons, email me with your concern and I will respond promptly with mailing instructions.
